Attorney Harry J. Kane, Jr. Elected to Partnership
Philadelphia, PA – April 28, 2016: Greenblatt, Pierce, Funt & Flores, LLC (WGP), is pleased to announce that attorney Harry J. Kane, Jr. has been elected to partnership in the firm.
Harry J. Kane, Jr. is based in the Philadelphia office and concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury litigation, employment litigation and Workers Compensation. After graduating from Georgetown University in 1985 (B.A., American Government), Harry received his law degree from Villanova Law School in 1988. At various times in his career, he has been an insurance defense attorney, a solo practitioner, in house-counsel for a public utility and a major insurance carrier. For the past nine years, Harry has practiced Plaintiffs’ work almost exclusively. This range of experiences has given Harry the ability to look at civil litigation from both sides of the courtroom and work toward the best possible result for the client.
Throughout Harry’s 27 years of experience as an attorney, he has tried dozens of cases to Jury verdict and has conducted hundreds of Arbitrations, inside and outside of the court system. Harry serves as an Arbitrator in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas Compulsory Arbitration Program, a Judge Pro Tem in the Day Forward Program, a solo neutral arbitrator in ADR proceedings and an arbitrator in UM/UIM proceedings.
Harry’s current practice involves civil litigation throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey with an emphasis on Personal Injury, Employment Litigation and Workers Compensation. Harry has successfully represented several members of Local Union 1 of the Independent Dockworkers Union (Gloucester, NJ) in both personal injury and Workers Compensation proceedings.
