PHILADELPHIA, PA. October 3, 2013: We are pleased to announce that Leonard S. Baker, one of South Jersey’s preeminent criminal defense lawyers, has joined Greenblatt, Pierce, Engle, Funt & Flores, LLC (WGP) and will serve as the Director of our New Jersey Office. Len’s 40 years of practice in both state and federal court, litigating civil as well as criminal matters, has earned him a well-deserved reputation as one of the most respected and sought after members of the New Jersey Bar. Len has successfully defended clients charged with virtually every federal and state criminal offense in federal court as well as in nearly every county in New Jersey —including Capital Murder, Assault, Drug Distribution, Sex Offenses, Misconduct in Office and many others. Len has achieved recognition as a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney by the NJ Supreme Court. He is also one of a select number of attorneys throughout New Jersey who have been chosen by a state-wide unit to represent law enforcement officers who require his unique services in disciplinary and criminal matters. Len’s vast criminal law experience and incredible success rate positions him as one of New Jersey’s best criminal defense attorneys. Additionally, Len is an accomplished civil litigator who has prosecuted claims for injured parties throughout New Jersey. Len has obtained verdicts and/or settlements in civil matters involving significant injuries that were in excess of One Million Dollars. A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Len received his law degree from Rutgers School of Law in Camden where he has been serving as an Adjunct Professor of Law for over 20 years, teaching Criminal Practice and Procedure to second and third year students. After graduating from Rutgers, Len worked as a public defender in Camden County for the next 15 years, where he served as Chief Litigator and supervised the other attorneys in the office. After leaving the Defender offices, Len established a private law practice and became a partner in a prominent New Jersey firm. Len will direct WGP’s office in Haddonfield, NJ where he will oversee all aspects of the firm’s New Jersey practice. We are very excited to have such a tremendously accomplished attorney leading our team of litigators in handling criminal and civil matters in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey. WGP provides outstanding legal representation in the fields of criminal defense and civil practice, including civil rights, employment law, and family law matters.
